About Us

Welcome to Paint the Album, a one-of-a-kind creative experience where music and art collide. Our workshops are designed to inspire creativity, foster connection, and encourage self-expression, no matter your artistic skill level. Whether you’re an experienced artist or someone just looking for a fun and relaxing night out, Paint the Album is a space where everyone is invited to unleash their inner artist.

At each session, participants create abstract masterpieces inspired by the music of a single artist. With a curated playlist as your guide, you’ll explore the interplay of rhythm, melody, and emotion to bring your creativity to life on canvas. It’s more than a workshop—it’s a celebration of art, sound, and community.

About Phoebe Jamieson

Paint the Album was founded by artist Phoebe Jamieson, whose passion for creativity and connection is the driving force behind this unique workshop series.

Phoebe, originally from Australia, relocated to New York City. She brings an extensive background in abstract expressionist painting and sculpture, drawing inspiration from Joan Mitchell, Helen Frankenthaler, and Jungian psychology. Her work explores themes of identity, emotion, and the collective unconscious, and she has exhibited prolifically in the U.S. and internationally.

Beyond her own practice, she is passionate about building community through art and creating experiences that inspire and uplift others. Through Paint the Album, Phoebe invites you to explore your creativity in an environment that’s playful, supportive, and deeply inspiring.
